First Things First
In Colossians 3:11, we see an amazing truth, “Where there is neither
Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian,
bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.” God does not care who you
are or where you come from. All He cares about is whether you love Him
through Christ by declaring Jesus as Lord and that God has raised Christ
from the dead. This idea seems to be lost on both sides of the
religious aisle (the church and non-believers). Christianity is not for
just one group of people acting graciously on Sunday wearing their
finest clothes, but for all men and women who would hear God’s Word.
For, it says in Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.” God shows no delineation between people who
believe and gives no special treatment to anyone of His children over
another. Acts 10:34-35, “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a
truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every
nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with
him.” As God has laid this truth out in His Word; so, I follow in my
writings. This blog is dedicated to all the Christians who don’t fit
into the church going stereotypes but love God all the same and to those
who do.
