I was once asked, “What would be your theme song?” With no hesitation I answered, “In Christ
by Living Sacrifice.” What is there not to like about this song? As
Bruce Fitzhugh screams, “I am in Christ,” one can’t help but feel a
sense of contentment and belonging in reference to the family of God.
Living Sacrifice are Christian metal legends and they don’t pull any
punches when it comes to their beliefs.This song has many of the elements of other songs on the list but combines them into one great song. The chorus is an anthem which can be chanted by unashamed Christians like Jesus Freak, an epic feel like Magnetic Sky, a triumphant tone like Destroyer, and inspirational lyrics like More Power To Ya. In addition, In Christ is just straight up awesome metal.
